Chick Hill Hike, Part 1 (Saturday, March 13, 2010)

Saturday morning Dad and Rosanna headed to Bangor to pick up some friends at the airport. On the way they dropped me off near Chick hill alongside rout 9 near Bangor to do some hiking.

I started through the woods towards the hill.

I soon stumbled across what appeared to be the remains of an old building.

I continued hiking into the woods.

It wasn't long before I came to a stream.

I stopped to get some water.

I soon came upon a large rock.

I continued towards the hills rocky face.

I soon determined it would be to dangerous to climb up the face.

So I looked for an easier place to climb up.

I soon found one, and started up.
