New River Beach Hike, Monday, August 3, 2009

On the way home form the Young Adult Retreat at Wind Crest Bible Camp, Timothy, Rosana and I stopped at New River beach to do some hiking and possibly watch the sunset. We parked the car at the beginning of the hiking trails and started our hike.

A little ways down the trail, we found someone to take our picture.

A little further down the trail we decided to take a break.

The following pictures are of me risking my life so Rosanna could get some pictures of me climbing the rocks.

When we arrived at Chittcks Beach we decided to take another break.

The fog began to role in.

It was time to take another break.

We decided to take another break, while enjoying the view of the fog.

If you haven't caught on by now, the water level was higher than normal.

After about 3 hours of hiking we arrived back at the car.
