Hike to Table Top, Sunday, June 28, 2009

I was barely settled inside from my Denis stream trip when. Joshua put me and my kennel in th back in the car. Joshua loaded his backpack in soon after, but instead of getting into the car himself, he went back into the house. A few minutes later Mom and Rosanna got into the car and drove off, leaving my stuck in my kennel with no hope of a walk. After a short drive the car came to a stop and Rosanna and Mom hopped out.
I waited for what must have more than a hour. Finally Joshua came out and grabbed his backpack. My tail waged with excitement, but instead of taking me with him, he left me in my kennel. However, he soon returned and we were off.
Joshua parked the car across the road from the trail that led to tabletop, and after we crossed it Joshua unhooked my leash and we started down the trail.

We soon came to a small stream.

I decided to take a break, while Joshua took pictures.

We continued following the stream for a while.

Turning away from the stream, we headed towards Table Top.

After arriving on top Joshua took pictures of the scenery, while I explored the surrounding woods.

I soon came to check on Joshua.

Then went for a cool refreshing dip in the pond.

It was time to go exploring again.

However, I soon came back for a rest.

At 9:30 we started down.

When we arrived at the bottom, I sat so Joshua could put on my leash.

Upon arriving back at the car, I was put in my kennel.

Denis Stream Trip, Sunday, June 28, 2009

I was extremly excited when Joshua and Andrew decided to take me with then to Denis stream Sunday afternoon. After loading me and my kennel in the Car, we were off. Joshua parked the car beside Denis stream. After crossing the bridge Joshua unhooked my leash and we headed towards the rapids.

I decided to check out the water myself.

It was moving so fast!

Should I risk it?

I could die of thirst if I don't.

O well! A dogs got to do, what a dogs got to do!

After a refreshing drink, Joshua and I headed upstream.

We met up with Andrew, who was working on the fort.

Joshua decided to take a video of the rapids.

I decided it was time for another drink.
I them went to help Andrew on the fort
.
However, he made it very clear he didn't want my help.

So I decided to chew a stick for a while.

Scratch my head...

...then go for a swim.

It was time to check on Andrew again
It was time the go home.

We crossed a small stream on the way.
